Who releases from heavy burdens

“Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between one and another of them: and we bow to Allah (in Islam)."  (Al Baqarah 2: 136)

The Holy Qur’an as it shows from the verse above had acceptance of all the real prophets of Jacob’s descendants. Some of these were mentioned in the Holy Qur’an by names, while others are referred to as “the Tribes”.

One of these is Isaiah who spoke much about this coming Prophet. For instance we find in Isaiah 21: 1- 17 “The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land. A grievous vision is declared unto me; …For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth. And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed: …And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground…. The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim…. For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail…” and in Isaiah 22: 1-4  “The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops? … Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.”

The prophecy speaks about many nations all of them were involved in the revelation. Christ never had any relation with them. On the contrary Mohammad dealt with all of them specially with Quraish tribe (one of the tribes that descended from Kedar. We notice also the use of camels. As much Jacob’s descendants hate camels, the descendants of Ishmael love them and make verses to describe them. Mecca is to the south of Jerusalem; but Egypt is southwest. Jesus came to Jerusalem hiding himself from the Romans. So this prophecy does not belong to Jesus; but it is mostly agrees with what is known about Mohammad (PBUT).

Also in Isaiah 29:12 “And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.” This was exactly what happened in the first revelation, when Gabriel told Mohammad “Read”, and he answered, “I am not a reader.”  After the words were repeated three times Mohammad pronounced what was revealed and the revelation continued in the same way until the end of the Chapter (Surah). In the same way all Quran was revealed.

In Isaiah 53: 4- 12 “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed… he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death… and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

The verse says “he bare the sin of many”, which means that he will have many followers, and that he will “made intercession”. This is the way he will bear the sins. For sure no one will be punished for the sins of another. This is clear from all the divine books.

In Isaiah 42: 1- 2 “Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.” Quran named Mohammad “His servant” (Annajm: 10), which means that he is the best who worshiped God. He also was named “Al-Mostafa” which means the anointed, the Chosen. If Jesus was who is meant by the prophecy it means that he is a servant of God not God or son of God. The prophecy also speaks about many nations Jesus (PBUH) had no relation what ever with. The prophecy also says “He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth:” Jesus (PBH) never set judgment in the earth. In fact he refused to Judge in Luke 12: 14 “And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?”
