what sign shall reveal his coming(a)? 14 Jesus answered: ‘The name of the Messiah (b) is admirable, for God himself gave him the name when he had created his soul, and placed it in a celestial splendour, 15 God said: “Wait Mohammed (c); for thy sake (d) I will to create paradise(e), the world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereof I make thee present insomuch that whose shall bless thee shall be blessed, and whose shall curse thee shall be accursed. 16 When I shall send thee into the world (f)( [1] ) I shall send thee as my messenger of salvation, and thy word shall be true ( [2] ), insomuch that heaven and earth shall fail, but thy faith shall never fail.” 17 Mohammed (c)( [3] ) is his blessed name.’

18 Then the crowd lifted up their voices, saying: ‘O God, send us thy messenger(b) : ‘O Mohammed (g), come quickly for the salvation of the world!’

a Certain of the Jews came to Jesus asking the name of the prophet who will be sent in the last times, and Jesus said: ‘God created the prophet at the end of time, and placed him in lamp of light and called him Mohammed. He said: “O Mohamed, be patient, on your account (I have created) many creatures, and have bestowed all on you; and whoever is pleased with you I am pleased with him, and whoever hates you I am quit of him, and when you are sent your word will excel all words and your code shall last.” Inde.

وما هي العلامة التي تعلن مجيئه (ا) ؟ 14 أجاب يسوع : إن اسم مسيا (ب) عجيب لأن الله نفسه سماه لما خلق نفسه ووضعها في بهاء سماوي 15 قال الله " اصبر يا محمد (ج) لأني لأجلك (د) أريد أن أخلق (هـ) الجنة والعالم وجما غفيرا من الخلائق التي أهبها لك حتى أن من يباركك يكون مباركا ومن يلعنك يكون ملعونا 16 ومتى أرسلتك (و) إلى العالم ( [4] ) أجعلك رسولي للخلاص وتكون كلمتك صادقة ( [5] ) حتى أن السماء والأرض تهنان ولكن إيمانك لا يهن أبدا " 17 إن اسمه المبارك محمد(ج) ( [6] ) 18 حينئذ رفع الجمهور أصواتهم قائلين : يا الله أرسل لنا رسولك (ب) يا محمد (ز) تعال سريعا لخلاص العالم .

ا جاءت طائفة من اليهود عيسى يسألون عن اسم النبي الذي يبعث في آخر الزمان فقال عيسى ان الله تعالى خلق النبي في آخر الزمان ووضعه في قنديل من نور وسماه محمدا قال يا محمد اصبر لأجلك خلقت خلقا كثيرا وهبت لك كله فمن رضي منك ( عنك ) فأنا راض منه ويبغضك ( من يبغضك ) فأنا بريء منه فإذا أرسلت ( أرسلتك ) يفوق كلامك على كل الكلام وشريعتك باق ( باقية ) الى ابد الآبدين
