[11] Jesus miraculously healeth a leper
and goeth into Jerusalem.
5 Jesus reproved him, saying: Thou art foolish; pray to God who created ( a ) thee, and he will give thee health; for I am a man, as thou art (b) ( [4] ) 6. The leper answered :I know that thou, Lord , art a man, but an holy one of the Lord. Wherefore pray thou to God, and he will give me health. 7 Then Jesus, sighing, said: Lord God Almighty(c) , for the love of thy holy prophets give health to this sick man. 8 Then, having said this, he said, touching the sick man with his hands in the name of God (d): O brother, receive thy health !9 And when he had said this the leprosy was cleansed, insomuch that the flesh of the leper was left unto him like that of a child.( [5] )10 Seeing which, namely, that he was healed, the leper with a loud voice cried out: Come hither, Israel, to receive

الفصل الحادي عشر
يسوع يشفي الأبرص ويذهب إلى أورشليم
1 ولما نزل يسوع من الجبل ليذهب إلى أورشليم التقى بأبرص ( [6] ) علم بإلهام إلهي أن يسوع نبي 2 فتضرع إليه باكيا قائلا : يا يسوع ابن داود ارحمني ( [7] ) 3 فأجاب يسوع ماذا تريد أيها الأخ أن أفعل لك ( [8] ) 4 فأجاب الأبرص : يا سيدي اعطني صحة 5 فوبّخه يسوع قائلا : إنك لغبي اضرع إلى الله الذي خلقك (ا ) وهو يعطيك صحة لأنني رجل نظيرك (ب) ( [9] ) 6 فأجاب الأبرص :أعلم يا سيدي أنك إنسان ولكنك قدوس الرب فاضرع إذا إلى الله وهو يعطيني صحة 7 فتنهد يسوع وقال : أيها الرب الإله القدير (ج) لأجل محبة أنبيائك الأطهار أبرئ هذا العليل 8 ولما قال ذلك لمس العليل بيديه وقال بسم الله (د) أيها الأخ إبرأ 9 ولما قال ذلك برئ من برصه حتى أن جسده الأبرص أصبح كجسد طفل ( [10] ) 10 فلما رأى الأبرص ذلك وعلم أنه قد برئ صرخ بصوت عال : تعال إلى هنا يا إسرائيل وتقبل
