10 Having passed throughout Judaea the disciples returned to Jesus, who received them as a father receiveth his sons, saying: ‘Tell me, how hath wrought the Lord our God? (a) Surely, I have seen Satan fall under your feet ( [2] ) and ye trample upon him even as the vinedresser treadeth the grapes!’

11 The disciples answered: ‘O Master, we have healed numberless sick persons, and cast out many demons ( [3] ) which tormented men.’

12 Said Jesus: ‘God forgive you (b) O brethren, because ye have sinned in saying “We have healed, “ seeing it is God that hath done all.’

13 Then said they: ‘We have talked foolishly; wherefore, teach us how to speak.’

14 Jesus answered: ‘In every good work say “God (c) hath wrought” and in every bad one say “I have sinned ( [4] ).”

16 Then said Jesus: ‘Now what saith Israel, having seen God do by the hands of so many men that which God hath done by my hands?

17 The disciples answered: ‘They say that there is one God alone and that thou art God’s prophet (d).’

18 Jesus answered with joyful countenance: ‘Blessed be the holy name of God (e)( [5] ), who hath not despised the desire

العامة ( [6] ) ولذلك ائتمروا عليه سرا 10 وبعد أن جاب التلاميذ اليهودية عادوا إلى يسوع فاستقبلهم كما يستقبل الأب أبنائه قائلا : أخبروني كيف فعل الرب إلهنا (ا) ؟ حقا إني لقد رأيت الشيطان يسقط تحت أقدامكم ( [7] ) وأنتم تدسونه كما يدوس الكرّام العنب 11 فأجاب التلاميذ : يا معلم لقد أبرأنا عدد لا يحصى من المرضى وأخرجنا شياطين كثيرين ( [8] )كانوا يعذبون الناس 12 فقال يسوع : ليغفر الله (ب) لكم أيها الاخوة لأنكم أخطأتم إذ قلتم "أبرأنا " وإنما الله هو الذي فعل ذلك كله 13 فحينئذ قالوا : لقد تكلمنا بغباوة فعلِّمنا كيف نتكلم 14 أجاب يسوع : في كل عمل صالح قولوا: " الرب (ج) صنع " وفي كل عمل رديء قولوا : " أخطأت " ( [9] ) 15 فقال التلاميذ : إننا لفاعلون هكذا 16 ثم قال يسوع : ماذا يقول إسرائيل وقد رأى الله يصنع على أيدي جمهور من الناس ما صنع الله على يدي ؟ 17 أجاب التلاميذ : يقولون أنه يوجد إله أحد وأنك نبي (د) الله 18 فأجاب يسوع بوجه متهلل : تبارك اسم الله القدوس (هـ) ( [10] ) الذي لم يحتقر رغبة

The rain here is a symbol of all life prosperities. There is another Prophet saying: “ I am in Charge for you of all your graces, and I am in charge with my sins”.

[9] الشورى :30 ، القصص : 56 ، النساء : 79 ، وفي الحديث النبوي أنه من قال أمطرنا النوء الفلاني ونسي أن الله هو الذي يمطر كفر, والمقصود ليس المطر بل لما يرمز إليه من رغَد العيش ، كما قال صلى الله عليه وسلم أيضا " أبوء لك بنعمتك عليّ وأبوء بذنبي " .
