3 Whereupon they all drew nigh to the sea. And sitting down awaited his word. He then opened his mouth and said: 4 ‘Behold, the sower went out to sow, 5 whereupon as he sowed some of the seed fell upon the road, and this was trodden under foot of men and eaten up of birds; 6 some fell upon the stones, whereupon when it sprang up, because it had no moisture, it was burnt up by the sun; 7 some fell in the hedges, whereupon when it grew up the thorns chocked the seed; 8 and some fell on good ground, whereupon it bare fruit, even to thirty, sixty, and an hundredfold( [1] ).’
9 Again Jesus said ( [2] ) : ‘Behold, the father of family sowed good seed in his field; whereupon, as the servants of the good man slept, the enemy of the man their master came and sowed tares over the good seed. 11 Whereupon, when the corn sprang up, there was seen sprung up among the corn a great quantity of tares. 12 The servants came to their master and said: “O sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? Wherefore then is there sprung up therein a great quantity of tares?” 13 The master answered: “Good seed did I sow,
3 فاقتربوا جميعا من البحر وجلسوا ينتظرون كلمته ففتح حينئذ فاه وقال 4 : هاهو ذا قد خرج الزارع ليزرع 5 فبينما كان يزرع سقط بعض البذور على الطريق فداسته أقدام الناس وأكلته الطيور 6 وسقط بعض على السياج فلما طلع الشوك خنق البذور 8 وسقط بعض على الأرض الجيدة فأثمر ثلاثين وستين ومائة ضعف ( [3] ) 9 وقال يسوع ( [4] ) أيضا : هاهو ذا أب أسرة زرع بذورا جيدة في حقله 10 وبينا خدم الرجل الصالح نيام جاء عدو الرجل سيدهم وزرع زوانا فوق البذور الجيدة 11 فلما نبتت الحنطة رؤى كثير من الزوان نابتا بينها 12 فجاء الخدم إلى سيدهم فقالوا : يا سيد ألم نزرع بذورا جيدة في حقلك ؟ فمن أين إذا طلع فيه مقدار وافر من الزوان ؟ 13 أجاب السيد : إني زرعت بذورا جيدة
[1] Ibrahim 14: 24-26, Al-A’raf 7: 57, 58, Al-Fath 89: 29, it is explained by a Prophetic saying : “ As an example of what God have sent me of guidance, and knowledge is like a heavy rain, it felled on a good soil which accepted water, it produced much food, and herbs, some of the soils were poor it preserved water, God caused it to benefit people they drank, irrigated, and cultivated , it felled on another portion which is was shallow does not preserve water ,and does not produce food, this is the example of who understood God’s religion and benefited from what God sent with me, who learned and taught it, and the example of who had paid no look and have not accepted God’s guidance which I was sent with me.
