but while men slept the enemy of man came and sowed tares over the corn”.
14 ‘Said the servants: “Wilt thou that we go and pull up the tares from among the corn?”
15 The master answered: “Do not so, for ye would pull up the corn therewith; 16 but wait till the time of harvest cometh. For then shall ye go and pull up the tares from among the corn and cast them into the fire to be burned, but the corn ye shall put into my granary.”’
17 Again Jesus said: ‘There went forth many men to sell figs. But when they arrived at the market-place, behold, men sought not good figs but fair leaves. 18 Therefore the men were not able to sell their figs. 19 And seeing this, an evil citizen said: “Surely I may become rich.” 20 Whereupon he called together his two sons and [said]: “Go ye and gather a great quantity of leaves with bad figs.” 21 And these they sold for their weight in gold, for the men were mightily pleased with leaves. 22 Whereupon the men, eating the figs, became sick with a grievous sickness.’
23 Again Jesus said: ‘Behold

ولكن بينا الناس نيام جاء عدو الإنسان وزرع زوانا فوق الحنطة 14 فقال الخدم : أتريد أن نذهب ونقتلع الزوان من بين الحنطة ؟ 15 أجاب السيد : لا تفعلوا هكذا لأنكم تقلعون الحنطة معه 16 ولكن تمهلوا حتى يأتي زمن الحصاد وحينئذ تذهبون وتقتلعون الزوان من بين الحنطة وتطرحونه في النار ليحرق وأما الحنطة فتضعونها في مخزني 17 وقال يسوع أيضا : خرج أناس كثيرون ليبيعوا تينا فلما بلغوا السوق إذا بالناس لا يطلبون تينا جيدا بل ورقا جميلا 18 فلم يتمكن القوم من بيع تينهم 19 فلما رأى ذلك أحد الأهالي الأشرار قال إني لقادر على أن أصير غنيا 20 فدعا ابنيه ( وقال ) : " اذهبا إلى واجمعا مقدار كبير من الورق مع تين رديء " 21 فباعوها بزنتها ذهبا لأن الناس سروا كثيرا بالورق 22 فلما أكل الناس التين مرضوا مرضا خطيرا 23 وقال أيضا يسوع :
