while the good faithful ones shall come to my kingdom ( [1] ).” 25 Of a surety, many infidel fathers shall beget faithful sons, for whose sake God waitheth (a) for the world to repent ( [2] ).

1 They that bear good figs are true teachers who preach good doctrine, 2 but the world, which taketh pleasure in lies, seeketh from the teachers leaves of fine words and flattery. 3 The which seeing, Satan joineth himself with the flesh and the sense, and bringeth a large supply of leaves; that is, a quantity of earthly things, in which he covereth up sin; 4 the which receiving, man becometh sick and ready for eternal death ( [3] ).
5 The citizen who hath the water and giveth his water to others to wash off their uncleanness, but suffereth his own garments to become putrefied, is the teacher who to others preacheth penitence and himself abideth still in sin ( [4] ).

والمؤمنون يأتون إلى مملكتي ( [5] ) " 25 ومما لا ريب فيه أن كثيرين من الآباء الكفار يلدون أبناء مؤمنين لأجلهم أمهل (ا) الله العالم ليتوب ( [6] ).
1 أما الذين يثمرون تينا حسنا فهم المعلمون الحقيقيون الذين يبشرون بالتعليم الصالح 2 ولكن العالم الذي يسر بالكذب يطلب من المعلمين أوراقا من الكلام والمداهنة المزوّقين 3 فمتى رأى الشيطان ذلك أضاف نفسه مع الجسد والحس وأتى بمقدار وافر من الأوراق أي مقدار من الأشياء الأرضية التي يعطي بها الخطيئة 4 فمتى أخذها الإنسان اعتل وأمسى على وشك الموت الأبدي ( [7] ) 5 أما أحد الأهالي الذي عنده ماء ويعطي ماءه للآخرين ليغسلوا وَسخهم ويترك ثيابه تنتن فهو المعلم الذي يبشر الآخرين بالتوبة أما هو نفسه فيلبث في الخطيئة ( [8] ) 6 ما
