20 Then shall his messenger (a) speak to God and say: “Lord, my God (b), remember the promise made to me thy servant, concerning them that have received my faith, that they shall not abide for evermore in hell ( [1] ).”

21 ‘God shall answer: “Ask what thou wilt, O my friend, for I will give thee all that thou askest (c).”

1 Then shall the messenger of God (a) say: “O Lord, there are of the faithful who have been in hell seventy thousand years. 2 Where, O Lord, is thy mercy(e)? 3 I pray thee, Lord, to free them from those bitter punishments.”

4 Then shall God command the four favourite angels ( [2] ) of God that they go to hell and take out every one that hath the faith of his messenger, and lead him into paradise. 5 And this they shall do.

6 And such shall be the advantage of the faith of God’s messenger (f), that those that shall have believed in him, even though they have not done any good works, seeing they died in this faith, shall go into paradise ( [3] ) after the

يقص عليه ما سمع 20 فحينئذ يكلم الرسول (ا) الله ويقول : ربي وإلهي (ب) اذكر وعدك لي أنا عبدك بأن لا يمكث الذين قبلوا ديني في الجحيم إلى الأبد ( [4] ) 21 فيجيب الله : اطلب ما تريد يا خليلي لأني أهبك كل ما تطلب(ج).

الفصل السابع والثلاثون بعد المائة (د)

1 فحينئذ يقول رسول الله (ا) : يا رب يوجد من المؤمنين في الجحيم من لبث سبعين ألف سنة 2 أين رحمتك (هـ) يا رب؟ 3 إني أضرع إليك يا رب أن تعتقهم من هذه العقوبات المرة4 فيأمر الله حينئذ الملائكة الأربعة المقربين ( [5] ) لله أن يذهبوا إلى الجحيم ويخرجوا كل من على دين رسوله ويقودوه إلى الجنة 5 وهو ما سيفعلونه 6 ويكون من مبلغ جدوى دين رسول الله (و) أن كل من آمن به يذهب إلى الجنة ( [6] ) بعد العقوبة التي تكلمت عنها

[1] Those are who the messenger of God will pray for God the Intercessor as it was said in the Tawrah as said in Al-A’raf 7: 157, Isaiah 53: 4,11. It is understood from the Quran that pure unification is Mohammed’s faith, so whoever has this faith is accepting his faith, even if he is not called Muslim.

[6] في الحديث النبوي " ما من أحد يشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله صدقا من قلبه إلا حرمه الله على النار" ، ويعني الإيمان صدقا من القلب القيام بجميع الفروض واجتناب جميع النواهي ، انظر فصل 55 .
