for the angels shall minister unto them

for the angels shall minister unto them. 16 ‘ ye are journeying as pilgrims. 17 Doth the pilgrim encumber himself with palaces and fields and other earthly matters upon the way? 18 Assuredly not: but he beareth things light and prized for their usefulness and convenience upon the road.( [1] ) 19 This now should be an ensample unto you; 20 and if ye desire another ensample I will give it you, in order that ye may do all that I tell you.

21 ‘Weigh not down your hearts with earthly desires saying :“ Who shall clothe us ( [2] )?” or” Who shall give us to eat?” 22 But behold the flowers and the trees, with the birds, which God our Lord clotheth and nourisheth ( [3] ) (a) with greater glory than all the glory of Solomon. 23 And he is able nourish you, even God who created (b) ( [4] ) you and called you to his service; 24 who for forty years ( [5] ) caused the manna to fall ([6] ) from heaven for his people Israel (c) in the wilderness, and did not suffer their clothing to wax old or perish, ( [7] ) 25 they being six hundred and forty thousand men, ( [8] )besides women and children. 26 Verily I say unto you, that heaven and earth shall fail, yet shall not fail his mercy unto them that fear him ( [9].)(d) 27 But the rich of the world in their prosperity are hungry and perish ( [10]).

d I say to you this word of truth ,( verily I say unto you ) the heaven and the earth will be destroyed , but as for him that feareth God ,God’s grace shall not cease from him for ever. inde.

لأن الملائكة ستقوم على خدمتهم 16 أنتم مسافرون كسياح 17 أيتخذ السائح لنفسه على الطريق قصورا وحقولا وغيرها من حطام العالم 18 كلا ثم كلا ولكنه يحمل أشياء خفيفة ذات فائدة وجدوى في الطريق ( [11] ) 19 فليكن هذا مثلا لكم 20 وإذا أحببتم مثلا آخر فإني أضربه لكم لكي تفعلوا كل ما أقوله لكم 21 لا تثقلوا قلوبكم بالرغبات العالمية قائلين من يكسونا ( [12] ) أو من يطعمنا 22 بل انظروا إلى الزهور والأشجار مع الطيور التي كساها وغذاها الله ( [13] ) (ا) ربنا بمجد أعظم من كل مجد سليمان 23 والله (ب)الذي خلقكم ودعاكم إلى خدمته هو قادر أن يغذيكم ( [14] ) 24 الذي أنزل المن ( [15] ) من السماء (ج) على شعبه إسرائيل في البرية أربعين سنة ( [16] )وحفظ أثوابهم من أن تعتق أو تبلى ( [17] ) 25 أولئك الذين كانوا ستمائة وأربعين ألف رجل ( [18] ) خلا النساء والأطفال 26 الحق أقول لكم أن السماء والأرض تهنان بيد أن رحمته لا تهن للذين يتقونه (د) ( [19] ) 27 أغنياء العالم هم على رخائهم جياع وسيهلكون ( [20] ).

ج منوا وسلوا ذكر منه ( ذكر المن والسلوى منه )

د اقول لك هذا الكلام حق ينهدم السماء والأرض وأما من يخاف الله لا ينقطع رحمة الله عليه ابدا ( أقول لك هذا الكلام : حقا تتهدم السماء والأرض ، وأما من يخاف الله فلا تنقطع رحمة الله عنه أبدا )
