28 There was a rich man whose incomings increased ( ), and he said," What shall I do, O my soul? 29 I will pull down my barns because they are small, and I will build new and greater ones: therefore Thou shalt triumph, my soul" 30 Oh, wretched man! For that night he died. 31 He ought to have been mindful of the poor, and to have made himself friends with the alms of unrighteous riches of this world; for they bring treasures in the kingdom of heaven.
32 Tell me, I pray you , if ye should give your money into the bank to a publican, and he should give unto you tenfold and twentyfold, would ye not give to such a man everything that ye had? 33 But I say unto you, verily that whatsoever ye shall give and shall forsake for love God, ye receive it back an hundredfold (a) ( ), and life everlasting. 34 See then how much ye ought to be content to serve God.

28 كان غني ازدادت ( )ثروته فقال : ماذا أفعل يا نفسي 29 إني أهدم أهرائي لأنها صغيرة وأبني أخرى جديدة أكبر منها فتظفرين بمناك يا نفسي 30 إنه لخاسر لأنه في تلك الليلة توفي 31 ولقد كان يجب عليه العطف على المسكين وأن يجعل لنفسه أصدقاء من صدقات أموال الظلم في هذا العالم لأنها تأتي بكنوز في عالم السماء 32 وقولوا لي من فضلكم إذا وضعتم دراهمكم في مصرف عشار فأعطاكم عشرة أضعاف وعشرين ضعفا أفلا تعطون رجلا كهذا كل مالكم 33 ولكن الحق أقول لكم أنكم مهما أعطيتم وتركتم لأجل محبة الله فستستردونه مائة ضعف مع الحياة الأبدية (ا) ( ) 34 فانظروا إذا كم يجب عليكم أن تكونوا مسرورين في خدمة الله .
الفصل السابع عشر (ب)
عدم إيمان التلاميذ ودين "مامن "الصحيح
1 ولما قال يسوع ذلك أجاب فيلبس : إننا لراغبون في خدمة الله ولكننا نرغب أيضا أن نعرف الله 2 لأن إشعياء النبي قال " حقا أنت لإله محتجب " (ج) ( )3 وقال الله لموسى عبده " أنا الذي هو أنا "( ) 4 أجاب يسوع : يا فيلبس إن الله

ا اقول لكم الحق ما اعطتم في سبيل الله من الأشياء اعطى كم الله تعلىفي مقابلته ماءة خيرا منه (أقول لكم الحق ، كل ما أعطيتم في سبيل الله من الأشياء أعطاكم الله تعالى في مقابله مائة مرة خيرا منه )
