to refill them with wine; 26 insomuch that now their head and now their feet struck the ground, and that without any one touching them.

27 And they were so affrighted and fled in such wise that they were never more seen in Judaea.

1 The priests and Pharisees murmured among themselves 2 and said: ‘He hath the wisdom of Baal and Ashtaroth, and so in the power of Satan hath he done this( [1] ).’

3 Jesus opened his mouth and said: ‘Our God commanded that we should not steal our neighbour’s goods ( [2] ). 4 But this single precept hath been so violated and abused that it hath filled the world with sin ( [3] ), and such [sin] as shall never be remitted as other sins are remitted: 5 seeing that for every other sin, if a man bewail it and commit it no more, and fast with prayer and almsgiving, our God mighty and merciful, forgiveth (b)(c)(d). 6 But this sin is of such a kind that it shall never be

لتملأ ثانية خمرا 26 فكانوا يلتطمون بالأرض تارة برأسهم وطورا بأرجلهم وذلك دون أن يمسهم أحد 27 فارتاعوا وأسرعوا إلى الهرب ولم يعودوا يروا في اليهودية قط .

الفصل الثالث والخمسون بعد المئة (ا)

1 فتذمر الكهنة والفريسيون فيما بينهم 2 وقالوا لقد أوتي حكمة بعل وعشتاروت فهو إنما فعل ( [4] ) هذا بقوة الشيطان 3 ففتح يسوع فاه وقال : لقد أمر إلهنا أن لا نسرق قريبنا ( [5] ) 4 ولكن قد انتهكت حرمة هذه الوصية حتى أنها ملأت العالم خطيئة لا تغفر ( [6] ) كما تغفر الخطايا الأخرى 5 لأنه إذا ندب المرء الخطايا الأخرى ولم يعد إلى ارتكابها فيما بعد وصام مع الصلاة والتصدق صفح (ب) إلهنا القدير (ج) (د) الرحيم 6 ولكن هذه الخطيئة من نوع لا يمكن غفرانه إلا إذا
