predestination but abomination we shall be establishing.
12 That man is free the book of Moses showeth, where, when our God gave the law upon Mount Sinai ( [1] ), he spake thus: “My commandment is not in the heaven that thou shouldest excuse thyself, saying: Now who shall go to bring us the commandment of God? 13 and who perchance shall give us strength to observe it?
14 Neither is it beyond the sea, that in like manner thou shouldest excuse thyself. 15 But my commandment is nigh unto thine heart, that when thou wilt thou mayest observe it.”
16 Tell me, if king Herod should command an old man to become young and sick man that he should become whole, and when they did it not should cause them to be killed, would this be just?
17 The disciples answered: ‘If Herod gave this command, he would be most unjust and impious.’
18 Then Jesus, sighing, said: ‘These are the fruits of human traditions, O brethren; for in saying that God hath predestinated the reprobate in such wise that he cannot become elect they blaspheme God as impious and unjust. 20 For he commandeth the Sinner
آخذين في إثبات مكرهة لا سبق اصطفاء 12 أما كون الإنسان حرا فواضح من كتاب موسى لأن إلهنا عندما أعطى الشريعة على جبل سيناء قال ( [2] ) هكذا :" ليست وصيتي في السماء لكي تتخذ لك عذرا قائلا : من يذهب ليحضر لنا وصية الله ؟ 13 ومن يا ترى يعطينا قوة لنحفظها ؟ ولا هي وراء البحر لكي تعذر نفسك كما تقدم 15 بل وصيتي قريبة من قلبك حتى أنك تحفظها متى شئت " 16 قولوا لي لو أمر هيرودس شيخا أن يعود يافعا ومريضا أن يعود صحيحا ثم إذا هما لم يفعلا ذلك أمر بقتلهما أ فيكون هذا عدلا ؟ أجاب التلاميذ : لو أمر هيرودس بهذا لكان أعظم ظالم وكافر 18 حينئذ تنهد يسوع وقال أيها الاخوة ما هذه إلا ثمار التقاليد البشرية 19 لأنه بالقول أن الله قدّر فقضى على المنبوذ بطريقة لا يمكنه معها أن يصير مختارا يجدفون على الله كأنه طاغ ظالم 20 لأنه يأمر الخاطئ
