an Ishmaelite. 28 And having found Jesus he bowed himself( [1] ), doing reverence unto him, and saying: verily thou art an holy One of God ( [2] ), 29 and with thanks he prayed him that he would receive him for servant .30 Jesus answered: ‘Ten have been cleansed; where are the nine? 31 And he said to him that was cleansed: ‘( [3] )I am not come to be served, but to serve’; 32 wherefore go to thine home, 33 and recount how much God hath done in thee, in order that they may know that the promises made to Abraham and his son ( [4] ), with the kingdom of God are drawing nigh. 34 The cleansed leper departed, and having arrived in his own neighbourhood recounted how much God ( [5] ) through Jesus had wrought in him.

[20] Miracle on the sea wrought by Jesus, and Jesus declares where the prophet is received.

1 Jesus went to the sea of Galilee, and having embarked in a ship ( [6] ) sailed to his city of Nazareth; 2 whereupon there was a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was nigh unto sinking. 3 And Jesus was sleeping upon the prow of the ship. 4 Then drew near to him his disciples, and awoke him, saying : ‘O master, save thyself, for we perish! 5 They were encompassed with very great fear, by reason of the great wind that was contrary and the roaring of the sea. 6 Jesus arose, and raising his eyes to heaven, said: ‘O Elohim Sabaoth , have mercy upon they servants. 7 Then, when Jesus had said this,

إسماعيليا 28 وإذ وجد يسوع انحنى احتراما ( [7] ) له قائلا : إنك حقا قدوس الله ( [8] )29 فتضرع إليه بشكر لكي يقبله خادما 30 أجاب يسوع : قد برئ عشرة فأين التسعة ؟ 31 وقال للذي برئ : إني ما أتيت لأخدَم بل لأخدِم ( [9] ) 32 فاذهب إذا إلى بيتك 33 واذكر ما أعظم ما فعل الله بك (ا) لكي يعلموا أن الوعود الموعود بها إبراهيم ( [10] )وابنه مع ملكوت الله آخذة في الاقتراب 34 فانصرف الأبرص المبرأ ولما بلغ جيرة حية قص ما صنع الله به بواسطة يسوع ( [11] ).

1 وذهب يسوع إلى بحر الجليل ونزل في مركب ( [12] ) مسافرا إلى الناصرة مدينته 2 فحدث ( حيث حدث )نوء عظيم في البحر حتى أشرف المركب على الغرق 3 وكان يسوع نائما في مقدم المركب 4 فدنا منه تلاميذه وأيقظوه قائلين : يا سيد خلص نفسك فإننا هالكون 5 وأحاط بهم خوف عظيم بسبب الريح الشديدة التي كانت مضادة وعجيج البحر 6 فنهض يسوع ورفع عينيه نحو السماء وقال يا ألوهيم الصباؤت (ج) ارحم عبيدك 7 ولما قال يسوع هذا

ج الله شباؤت الله علعن هذا الاسم لسان عمران (الله شباؤت تعني عند بني إسرائيل رب الجنود وهو من أسماء الله لديهم، أما ما دونه المترجم علعن فقد دونه راغ عليون ، وأميل لرأي الأخير حيث يمكن قراءتها علين ،وهو اسم الله العلي لدي بني إسرائيل ، وكلمة عمران شك راغ أن يكون معناها العبريون وصحتها لغة العشيرة التي ينتمي لها موسى وهارون واسمها في العهد القديم عمرام [ والد موسى وهارون ]وهناك سورة في القرآن الكريم باسم هذه العشيرة ( آل عمران ). )

[10] المقصود بابنه إسماعيل عليه السلام والرمز أن استجابة الإسماعيلي إرهاص عن اقتراب رسالة النبي الأمي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم من نسل إسماعيل عليه السلام وقرب شفاء بني إسماعيل من مرض نفوسهم (الشرك ).

[11] أعمال الرسل 2 :22 ، أي أن الله هو الذي كان يصنع المعجزات وليس المسيح كما يتبين ذلك من آل عمران :49 وغيرها .
