her own country to find Jesus. 18 Having therefore seen him come with his disciples, she cried out: ‘Jesus, son of David, have mercy on my daughter, who is tormented of the devil!.
19 Jesus did not answer even a single word, because they were of the uncircumcised people. 20 The disciples were moved to pity, and said: ’O master have pity on them! Behold how much they cry out and weep. 21 Jesus answered ‘I am not sent but unto the people of Israel(a)( [1] )’. 22 Then the woman with her sons, went before Jesus weeping and saying: ’O son of David have mercy on me! 23 Jesus answered: ‘It is not good to take the bread from the children’s hands and give it to the dogs.’ 24 And this said Jesus by reason of their uncleanness, because they were of the uncircumcised people.
25 The woman answered: ‘O lord the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters table.’ Then was Jesus seized with admiration at the words of the woman, and said: ‘O woman, great is thy faith.’ 27 And having raised his hands to heaven he prayed to God, and then he said :’ O woman thy daughter is freed, go thy way in peace. 28 The woman, departed, and returning to her home found her daughter, who was blessing God. 29 wherefore the woman said:

a Said Jesus ‘God has sent me to the children of Israel and to none else
من بلادها لترى يسوع 18 فلما رأته أتيا مع تلاميذه صرخت : يا يسوع ابن داود ارحم ابنتي التي يعذبها الشيطان 19 فلم يجب يسوع بكلمة واحدة لأنهم كانوا من غير أهل الختان 20 فتحنن التلاميذ وقالوا : يا معلم تحنن عليهم انظر ما أشد صراخهم وعويلهم 21 فأجاب يسوع : إني لم أرسل إلا إلى شعب إسرائيل (ا) ( [2] ) 22 فتقدمت المرأة وابناها إلى يسوع معولة قائلة : يا يسوع ابن داود ارحمني 23 أجاب يسوع : لا يحسن أن يأخذ الخبز من أيدي الأطفال ويطرح للكلاب 24 وإنما قال يسوع هذا لنجاستهم لأنهم كانوا من غير أهل الختان 25 فأجابت المرأة : يا رب إن الكلاب تأكل الفتات الذي يسقط من مائدة أصحابها 26 حينئذ انذهل يسوع من كلام المرأة وقال :أيتها المرأة إن إيمانك لعظيم 27 ثم رفع يديه إلى السماء وصلى لله ثم قال أيتها المرأة قد حررت ابنتك فاذهبي في طريقك بسلام 28 فانصرفت المرأة ولما عادت إلى بيتها وجدت ابنتها التي تسبح الله 29 لذلك قالت المرأة :

ا قال عيسى أرسلني الله تعلى ( تعالى ) الابن اسرائيل ( لأبناء إسرائيل ) لا غيرهم منه
