high priest, and said: ‘If ye will give me what was promised, this night will I give into your hand Jesus whom ye seek; 4 for he is alone with eleven companions.’
5 The high priest answered: ‘How much seekest thou?’
6 Said Judas ‘Thirty pieces of gold ( [1] ).’
7 Then straightway the high priest counted unto him the money, 8 and sent a Pharisee to the governor to fetch soldiers, and to Herod, 9 and they gave a legion of them, because they feared the people; 10 wherefore they took their arms, and with torches and lanterns upon staves went out of Jerusalem.

1 When the soldiers with Judas drew near to the place where Jesus was, Jesus heard the approach of many people, 2 wherefore in fear he withdrew into the house. 3 And the eleven were sleeping.
4 Then God seeing (a) the danger of his servant, commanded Gabriel, Michael, Rafael, and Uriel ( [2] ), his ministers, to take Jesus out of the world.
5 The holy angels came and took Jesus out by the window that looketh toward the South. 6 They bare him and placed him in the third heaven ( [3] ) in the company of angels blessing God for ever-more.

لرئيس الكهنة 3 وقال : إذا أعطيتني ما وعدت به أسلم هذه الليلة ليدك يسوع الذي تطلبونه 4 لأنه منفرد مع أحد عشر رفيقا 5 أجاب رئيس الكهنة : كم تطلب ؟ 6 قال يهوذا : ثلاثين قطعة من الذهب ( [4] ) فحينئذ عدّ له رئيس الكهنة النقود فورا 8 وأرسل فريسيا إلى الوالي وهيرودس ليحضر جنودا 9 فأعطياه كتيبة منها لأنهما خافا الشعب 10 فأخذوا من ثم أسلحتهم وخرجوا من أورشليم بالمشاعل والمصابيح على العصي.
1 ولما دنت الجنود مع يهوذا من المحل الذي كان فيه يسوع سمع يسوع دنو جم غفير 2 فلذلك انسحب إلى البيت خائفا 3 وكان الأحد عشر نياما 4 فلما رأى الله الخطر على عبده أمر جبريل وميخائيل ورفائيل وأوريل ( [5] ) سفراءه أن يأخذوا يسوع من العالم 5 فجاء الملائكة الأطهار وأخذوا يسوع من النافذة المشرفة على الجنوب 6 فحملوه ووضعوه في السماء الثالثة في صحبة الملائكة التي تسبح الله إلى الأبد ( [6] ) .
