to be unjust, commanded those who dwelt with her to forget her son. 3 Then how each one was affected! _ 4 God who discerneth (a) the heart of men knoweth that between grief at the death of Judas whom we believed to be Jesus our master, and the desire to see him risen again, we, with the mother of Jesus, were consumed.
5 So the angels that were guardians of Mary ascended to the third heaven ( [1] ), where Jesus was in the company of angels, and recounted all to him.
6 Wherefore Jesus prayed God that he would give him power to see his mother and his disciples. 7 Then the merciful God (b) commanded his four favourite angels, who are Gabriel, Michael, Rafael, and Uriel, to bear Jesus into his mother’s house, 8 and there keep watch over him for three days continually, 9 suffering him only to be seen by them that believed in his doctrine.
10 Jesus came surrounded with splendour, to the room where

مع أنها عرفت أن أمر رئيس الكهنة ظلم 3 وما كان أشد انفعال كل أحد ! 4 والله الذي يبلو (ا) قلوب البشر يعلم أننا فَنَيْنَا بين الأسى على موت يهوذا الذي كنا نحسبه يسوع معلمنا وبين الشوق إلي رؤيته قائما 5 وصعد الملائكة الذين كانوا حراسا على مريم إلي السماء الثالثة ( [2] ) حيث كان يسوع في صحبة الملائكة وقصوا عليه كل شئ 6 لذلك ضرع يسوع إلي الله أن يأذن له بأن يري أمه وتلاميذه 7 فأمر حينئذ الرحمن(ب) ملائكته الأربعة المقربين الذين هم جبريل وميخائيل ورافائيل وأوريل أن يحملوا يسوع إلي بيت أمه 8 وأن يحرسوه هناك مدة ثلاثة أيام متوالية 9 وأن لا يسمحوا لأحد أن يراه خلا الذين آمنوا بتعليمه 10 فجاء يسوع محفوفا بالنساء إلي الغرفة التي
