الذي هرب جائبا القفار مقتاتا بالعشب ومرتديا جلد الماعز 30 واواه كم يوما لم يأكل 31 وأواه ما أشد البرد الذي احتمله 32 أواه كم من شؤبوب بلله 33 ولقد عانى مدة سبع سنين من شظف اضطهاد تلك المرأة النجسة إيزابيل 34 اذكروا أليشع الذي أكل خبز الشعير ( [1] ) ولبس أخشن الأثواب 35 الحق أقول لكم أنهم إذ لم يخشوا أن يمتهنوا الجسد روعوا الملك والرؤساء وكفى بهذا امتهانا للجسد أيها القوم 36 وإذا نظرتم إلى القبور تعلمون ما هو الجسد.
الفصل الرابع والعشرون (ا)
مثل جلي كيف يجب على الإنسان أن يهرب من الولائم والتنعم
