25 Oh how many there are that fear an ant, but reck not of an elephant!.’
26 And having said this, he went forth from the temple. 27 But the priests chafed with rage among themselves, 28 because they were not able to seize him and to work their will upon him, even as their fathers have done against the holy ones of God..

1 Jesus went down, in the second year of his prophetic ministry from Jerusalem, 2 and went to Nain. 3 Whereupon as he drew nigh ( [1] )to the gate of the city the citizens were bearing to the sepulchre the only son of his mother, a widow, 4 over whom every one was weeping. 5 Whereupon, when Jesus had arrived, the men understood how that Jesus, a prophet of Galilee, was come: 6 and so they set themselves to beseech him for the dead man, that he being a prophet should raise him up; 7 which also his disciples did. 8 Then Jesus feared greatly, 9 and turning himself to God, said :’Take me from the world, ( [2] ) O lord, 10 for the world is mad, and they wellnigh call me God!’ 11 And having said this, he wept.
12 Then came the angel Gabriel, 13 and said: ‘O Jesus, fear not, for God hath given thee (b) power over every infirmity, 14 insomuch that all that thou shalt grant in the name of God (c) shall be entirely accomplished.’ 15 Hereupon

25 ما أكثر الذين يخشون النملة ولكنهم لا يبالون بالفيل ؟ 26 ولما قال هذه خرج من الهيكل 27 ولكن الكهنة احتدموا غيظا فيما بينهم 28 لأنهم لم يقدروا أن يمسكوه وينالوا منه مأربا كما فعل آباؤهم في قدوسي الله.
الفصل السابع والأربعون(ا)
1 ونزل يسوع في السنة الثانية من وظيفته النبوية من أورشليم 2 وذهب إلى نايين 3 فلما اقترب ( [3] )من باب المدينة كان أهل المدينة يحملون إلى القبر ابنا وحيدا لأمه الأرملة 4 وكان كل أحد ينوح عليه 5 فلما وصل يسوع علم الناس ( كيف) أن الذي جاء إنما هو يسوع نبي الجليل 6 فلذلك تقدموا وتضرعوا إليه لأجل الميت طالبين أن يقيمه لأنه نبي 7 وفعل تلاميذه كذلك 8 فخاف يسوع كثيرا 9 ووجه نفسه لله وقال :" خذني من العالم يا رب ( [4] ) 10 لأن العالم مجنون وكادوا يدعونني إلها 11 ولما قال ذلك بكى 12 حينئذ جاء الملاك جبريل 13 وقال :" لا تخف يا يسوع لأن الله أعطاك ( ب) قوة على كل مرض 14 حتى أن كل ما تمنحه باسم الله (ج) يتم برمته 15 فعند ذلك
