Satan did so instigate this manner of speaking that he aroused no small sedition among the people of Nain. 8 But Jesus tarried not at all in Nain, but turned to go into capernaum. 9 The discord of Nain was such that some said: ‘He is our God who hath visited us.’ 10 Others said ‘God is invisible (a), so that none hath seen him, not even Moses, his servant; therefore it is not God ( [1] ), but rather his son. 11 Others said: ‘He is not God, nor son of God, for God hath not a body ( [2] )to beget withal; but he is a great prophet of God.’
12 and so did Satan instigate that, in the third year of the prophetic ministry of Jesus, great ruin to our people was like to arise therefrom.
13 Jesus went into Capernaum: 14 whereupon the citizens, when they knew him, assembled together all the sick folk they had ( [3] ), and placed them in front of the porch [of the house] where Jesus was lodging with his disciples. 15 And having called Jesus forth, they besought him for the health of them. 16 Then Jesus laid his hands upon each of them, saying: ‘God of Israel, by thy holy name (b), give health to this sick person.’ 17 Whereupon each one was healed.
18 On the sabbath Jesus entered into the synagogue, and thither ran together all the people to

7 فوسوس الشيطان بهذا الأسلوب من الكلام حتى أنه أثار شغبا بين شعب نايين 8 لكن يسوع لم يمكث في نايين بل تحول ليذهب إلى كفر ناحوم 9 وبلغ الشقاق في نايين مبلغا قال معه قوم :" إن الذي زارنا إنما هو إلهنا 10 وقال آخرون :" إن الله لا يرى (ا) فلم يره أحد حتى ولا موسى عبده فليس هو الله ( [4] ) بل بالأحرى ابنه 11 وقال آخرون :" إنه ليس الله ولا ابن الله لأنه ليس لله جسد ( [5] ) فيلد بل هو نبي عظيم من الله 12 وبلغ من وسوسة الشيطان أن كاد يجر ذلك على شعبنا في السنة الثالثة من وظيفة يسوع النبوية خرابا عظيما 13 وذهب يسوع إلى كفر ناحوم 14 فلما عرفه أهل المدينة جمعوا كل مرضاهم ( [6] ) ووضعوهم في مقدمة الرواق حيث كان يسوع وتلاميذه نازلين 15 فدعوا يسوع وتضرعوا إليه لأجل صحتهم 16 فألقى يسوع يده على كل منهم قائلا :" يا إله إسرائيل باسمك القدوس (ب) أعط صحة لهذا العليل 17 فبرئوا جميعهم 18 ودخل يسوع يوم السبت المجمع فأسرع كل الشعب إلى هناك
