sinneth without will and none willeth that which he doth not know. 16 Woe, therefore, to the sinner who with his judgement judgeth sin worthy and goodness unworthy, 17 who on that account rejecteth goodness and chooseth sin. 18 Assuredly he shall bear an intolerable punishment when God shall come to judge the world ( [1] ). 19 Oh how many have perished through false judgement, 20 and how many have been nigh to perishing! 21 Pharaoh judged ( [2] )Moses and the people of Israel to be impious. 22 Saul judged David ( [3] ) to be worthy of death. 23 Ahab judged Elijah( [4] ), 24 Nebuchadnezzar the three children ( [5] ) who would not worship their lying gods. 25 The two elders judged Susanna( [6] ), 26 and all the idolatrous princes judged the prophets. 27 Oh, tremendous judgement of God! 28 the judge perisheth, the judged is saved. 29 And wherefore this , O man if not because [in] rashness they falsely judge the innocent? 30 How nearly then the good approached to ruin 31 by judging falsely, 32 is shown by the brethren of Joseph, ( [7] )who sold him to the Egyptians, 33 by Aaron and Miriam ( [8] ), sister of Moses who judged their brother, 34 three friends of Job judged ( [9] ) the innocent friend
يخطئ بدون إرادة ولا أحد يريد ما لا يعرف 16 ويل إذا للخاطئ الذي يحكم في قضائه بأن الخطيئة صالحة والصلاح فساد 17 الذي يرفض لذلك السبب الصلاح ويختار الخطيئة 18 إنه سيحل به قصاص لا يطاق متى جاء الله ليدين العالم ( [10] ) 19 ما أكثر الذين هلكوا بسبب القضاء الجائر 20 وما أكثر الذين أوشكوا أن يهلكوا 21 قضى فرعون ( [11] ) على موسى وشعب إسرائيل بالكفر 22 وقضى شاول ( [12] ) على داود بأنه مستحق للموت 23 وقضى أخاب ( [13] ) على إيليا 24 ونبوخذنصر ( [14] ) على الثلاثة غلمان الذين لم يعبدوا آلهتهم الكاذبة 25 وقضى الشيخان على سوسنة ( [15] ) 26 وقضى كل الرؤساء عبدة الأصنام على الأنبياء 27 ما أرهب قضاء الله 28 يهلك القاضي وينجو المقضي عليه 29 ولماذا هذا أيها الإنسان إن لم يكن لأنهم يحكمون على البريء ظلما بالطيش ؟ 30 ما كان أشد قرب الصالحين من الهلاك 31 لأنهم حكموا باطلا 32 يتبين ذلك من ( قصة ) اخوة يوسف الذين باعوه ( [16] ) للمصريين 33 ومن هارون ومريم ( [17] ) أخت موسى اللذين حكما على أخيهما 34 وثلاثة من أصدقاء أيوب ( [18] ) حكموا على خليل
