[61](a)
1 Having thus said, Jesus washed himself with his disciples, according to the law of God written in the book of Moses; 2 and then they prayed. And the disciples seeing him thus sad spake not at all to him that day, but each stood terror struck at his words.
3 Then Jesus opening his mouth after the evening [prayer], said: ‘what father of family ( [1] ) if he knew that a thief meant to break into his house, would sleep? 4 None, assuredly 5 for he would watch and stand prepared to slay the thief. 5 Do ye not know then that Satan is as a roaring lion ( [2]) that goeth about seeking whom he may devour. 7 Thus he seeketh to make man sin(b)( [3] ). 8 Verily I say unto you that if man would act as the merchant he should have no fear in that day, because he would be well prepared. 9 There was a man ( [4] )who gave money to his neighbours that they might trade with it and the profit should be divided in a just proportion. And some traded well so that they doubled the money. But some used the money in

a The chapter of the negligent.
b And (like) the wiles of the lion which moves to the right and left for the chase thus Satan moves amongst the believers that he may seduce them from the straight way.
الفصل الحادي والستون (ا)
1 ولما قال يسوع هذا اغتسل هو وتلاميذه طبقا لشريعة الله المكتوبة في كتاب موسى 2 ثم صلوا ولما رآه التلاميذ كئيبا بهذا المقدار لم يكلموه ذلك اليوم مطلقا بل لبث كل منهم جزوعا من كلامه 3 ثم فتح يسوع فاه بعد "صلاة" العشاء وقال : أي أبي أسرة ( [5] ) ينام وقد عرف أن لصا عزم علي نقب بيته ؟ 4 لا أحد البتة 5 بل يسهر ويقف متأهبا لقتل اللص 6 أفلا تعلمون إذا أن الشيطان أسد زائر ( [6] ) يجول طالبا من يفترسه هو 7 فهو يحاول أن يوقع الإنسان في الخطيئة (ب) ( [7] ) 8 الحق أقول لكم أن الإنسان إذا تحدى ( قلّد) التاجر لا يخاف في ذلك اليوم لأنه يكون متأهبا جيدا 9 كان رجل ( [8] ) أعطى جيرانه نقودا ليتاجروا بها ويقسم الربح على نسبة عادلة ،فأحسن بعضهم التجارة حتى أنهم ضاعفوا النقود ولكن بعضهم استعمل النقود

ا سورة الغافلون
ب فعلل أسد (فعل الأسد ) أن يتحرك لى ( إلى) اليمين والشمال لاجل (لأجل ) الصيد كذلك مثل الشيطان يتحرك بين المؤمنين أن ينويهم ( يغويهم ) عن الطريق المستقيم منه
