God 13 because they cleans the body and not the heart, 14 they cry with the mouth not with the heart; 15 they abstain from meats, and fill themselves with sins; 16 they give to others things not good for them, in order that they may be held good; 17 they study that they may know how to speak, not to work ([1]); 18 they preach to others against that which they do themselves ([2] ), 19 and thus are condemned by their own tongue. 20 As God liveth(a), these do not know god with their hearts; 21 for if they knew him they would love him; 22 and since whatsoever a man hath he hath received it from God ( [3] ), even so should he spend all for the love God.( [4])’

1 After certain days Jesus passed near unto a city of the Samaritans ( [5] ); and they would not let him enter the city, nor would they sell bread to his disciples. 2 Wherefore said James and John: ‘Master, may it please thee that we pray God that he send down fire form heaven upon these people?
Jesus answered: ‘ye know not by what spirit ye are led, that ye so speak. 4 Remember that God determined to destroy Nineveh because

الله 13 لأنهم يطهرون الجسد لا القلب 14 ويصرخون بالفم لا بالقلب 15 يمتنعون عن اللحوم ويملئون أنفسهم بالخطايا 16 يهبون الآخرين أشياء غير نافعه لهم ليظهروا بمظهر الصلاح 17 يطالعون ليعرفوا كيف يتكلمون لا ليعملوا ([6]) 18 ينهون الآخرين عن الأشياء التي يفعلونها هم أنفسهم ([7]) 19 وهكذا يدانون بألسنتهم 20 لعمر الله (ا) أن هؤلاء لا يعرفون الله بقلوبهم 21 لأنهم لو عرفوه لأحبوه 22 ولما كان كل ما للإنسان هبة من الله ([8]) كان عليه أن يصرف كل شيء في محبة الله ([9])
الفصل الثالث والستون (ب)
1 وبعدد أيام مر يسوع بجانب مدينه للسامريين ([10]) فلم يأذنوا له أن يدخل المدينة ولم يبيعوا خبزا لتلاميذه 2 فقال يعقوب ويوحنا عندئذ : يا معلم ألا تريد أن تضرع إلى الله ليرسل نارا من السماء على هؤلاء الناس؟ 3 أجاب يسوع : إنكم لا تعلمون أي روح يدفعكم لتتكلموا هكذا 4 اذكروا أن الله عزم علي إهلاك لينوى لأنه
