that God hath heard my prayer. 9 wherefore, that ye may know the truth, I say to this sick man: “ In the name of the God (a) of our fathers, the God of Abraham and his sons, rise up healed!” 10 And when Jesus had said this, the sick man rose up healed, and glorified God.

11 Then the common people besought Jesus that he would beseech God for the sick who stood outside. 12 Whereupon Jesus went out unto them, and having lifted up his hands, said: 13 ‘Lord God of hosts ( [1] ), the living God ( [2] ), the true God( [3] ), the holy God ( [4] ), that never will die (b) ([5] ); have mercy upon them!’ 14 Whereupon every one answered: ‘Amen.’ 15 And this having been said, Jesus laid his hands upon the sick folk, and they all received their health.

16 Thereupon they magnified God, saying: ‘God hath visited us by his prophet, and a great prophet hath God sent unto us.’

1 At night Jesus spake in secret with his disciples, saying: 2 ‘Verily I say unto you that Satan desireth to sift you as wheat( [6] ); 3 but I have besought God for you, and there shall not perish of you save he hath layeth snares for me. 4 And this he said of Judas, because the angel Gabriel

بأن الله قد استجاب دعائي 9 وكي تعلموا الحق أقول لهذا الإنسان : باسم اله (ا ) آبائنا اله إبراهيم وأبنائه قم معافى 10 ولما قال يسوع هذا قام المريض معافى ومجد الله 11 حينئذ توسل العامة إلى يسوع ليتوسل إلى الله لأجل المرضى الذين كانوا خارجا 12 فخرج حينئذ يسوع إليهم ثم رفع يديه وقال : 13 أيها الرب اله الجنود ( [7] ) الإله الحي ( [8] ) الإله الحقيقي ( [9] ) الإله القدوس ( [10] ) الذي لا يموت (ب) ( [11] ) ألا فأرحمهم 14 فأجاب كل أحد : آمين 15 وبعد أن قيل هذا وضع يسوع يديه على المرضى فنالوا جميعهم صحتهم 16 فحينئذ مجدوا الله قائلين : لقد افتقدنا الله بنبيه فإن الله أرسل لنا نبيا عظيما

1 وفي الليل تكلم يسوع سرا مع تلاميذه قائلا : 2 "الحق أقول لكم أن الشيطان يريد أن يغربلكم كالحنطة ( [12] ) 3 ولكني توسلت إلى الله لأجلكم فلا يهلك منكم إلا الذي يلقي الحبائل لي 4 وهو إنما قال هذا عن يهوذا لأن الملاك جبريل
