that had delicate fruits. 13 Whereupon this man said: “Now how doth this plant here bear these so delicate fruits? 14 Assuredly I will not that it be cut down and put on the fire with the rest.” 15 And having called his servants he made them dig it up and set it in his garden. 16 Even so, I tell you that our God shall reserve(a) from the flames of hell those who work righteousness, wheresover they be.’

1 Tell me, where dwelt Job but in Uz( [1] ) among idolaters? 2 And at the time of the flood, how writeth Moses? 3 Tell me, 4 he saith: “( [2] )Noah truly found grace before God.” 5 Our father Abraham had a father without faith, for he made and worshipped false idols( [3] ). 6 Lot abode ( [4] )among the most wicked men on earth. 7 Daniel as a child, with Ananias, Azarias, and Mishael( [5] ), were taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar in such wise that they were but two years old when they were taken; And they were nurtured among the multitude of idolatrous servants. 8 As God liveth(d), even as the fire burneth dry things

ذي ثمار شهية 13 فقال هذا الإنسان حينئذ : " كيف تأتي لهذا النبات أن يحمل هذه الثمار الشهية هنا ؟ 14 إني لا أريد أن يقطع ويوضع في النار مع البقية " 15 ثم دعا خدمه وأمرهم بقلعه ووضعه في بستانه 16 إني أقول لكم هكذا يحفظ إلهنا (ا) من لهب الجحيم من يفعلون برا أينما كانوا .
الفصل الثمانون (ب) (ج)
1 قولوا لي أسكن أيوب في غير أرض عوص ( [6] ) بين عبدة الأصنام ؟ 2 وكيف يكتب موسى عن زمن الطوفان 3 قولوا لي 4 إنه يقول : "( [7] ) إن نوحا وجد نعمة أمام الله" 5 كان لأبينا إبراهيم أب لا إيمان له لأنه كان يصنع ويعبد الأصنام الباطلة ( [8] )6 وسكن لوط ( [9] ) بين شر ناس على الأرض 7 ولقد أخذ نبوخذ نصر دانيال أسيرا وهو طفل مع حننيا وعزريا وميشائيل ( [10] ) الذين لم يكن لهم سوى سنتين أسروا وربوا بين جمع من الخدم عبدة الأصنام 8 لعمر الله (د) أن النار كما تحرق الأشياء اليابسة
