19 Then the woman left her waterpot and ran to the city to announce all that she had heard form Jesus.

1 Whilst the woman was talking with Jesus came his disciples, and marvelled that Jesus was speaking so with [1]a woman. 2 Yet no one said unto him: ‘why speakest thou thus with a Samaritan woman?’
3 Whereupon, when the woman was departed, they said: ‘Master, come and eat.’
4 Jesus answered: ‘I must eat other food.’
5 Then said the disciples one to another: ‘Perchance some wayfarer hath spoken with Jesus and hath gone to find him food.’ 6 And they questioned him who writeth this, saying: ‘Hath there been any one here, O Barnabas, who might have brought food to the master?’
7 Then answered he who writeth: ‘There hath not been here any other than the woman whom ye saw, who brought this empty vessel to fill it with water. 8 Then the disciples stood amazed,

مكان 19 حينئذ تركت المرأة جرتها وأسرعت إلى المدينة لتخبر بكل ما سمعت من يسوع.
الفصل الثالث والثمانون (ا)
1 وبينما كانت المرأة تكلم يسوع جاء تلاميذه وتعجبوا أنه كان يتكلم هكذا مع امرأة ( [2] )2 ومع ذلك لم يقل له أحد : لماذا تتكلم هكذا مع امرأة سامرية ؟ 3 فلما انصرفت المرأة قالوا : يا معلم تعال وكل 4 أجاب يسوع : يجب آن آكل طعاما آخر 5 فقال التلاميذ بعضهم لبعض : لعل مسافرا كلم يسوع وذهب ليفتش له على طعام 6 فسألوا الذي يكتب هذا قائلين : هل كان هنا أحد يمكنه أن يحضر طعاما للمعلم يا برنابا ؟ 7 فأجاب الذي يكتب : لم يكن هنا من أحد خلا المرأة التي رأيتموها التي أحضرت هذا الإناء الفارغ لتملأه ماء 8 فوقف التلاميذ مندهشين
