5 Then said Jesus: ‘Have ye ever seen dung mixed with balsam?’
6 They answered : ‘ Nay ,Lord ,for no one is so mad as to do this thing’
7 ‘Now I tell you that there be in the world greater madmen,’ said Jesus, ‘because with the service of God they mingle the service of the world. 8 So much so that many of blameless life have been deceived of Satan, 9 and while praying have mingled with their prayer worldly business, whereupon they have become at that time abominable in the sight of God( [1] ) . 10 Tell me, when ye wash yourselves for prayer, do ye take care that no unclean thing touch you? Yea assuredly. 11 But what do ye when ye are making prayer? 12 ye wash your soul from sins through the mercy of God (a). 13 would ye be willing then, while ye are making prayer, to speak of wordly things? 14 Take care not to do so, 15 for every worldly word becometh

الوصايا هذه الليلة 5 فقال يسوع : هل رأيتم مرة ما البراز ممزوجا بالبلسم ؟ 6 لا يا سيد لأنه لا يوجد مجنون يفعل هذا الشيء 7 فقال يسوع : إني أخبركم الآن أنه يوجد في العالم من هم أشد جنونا من ذلك لأنهم يمزجون خدمة الله بخدمة العالم 8 حتى أن كثيرين من الذين يعيشون بلا لوم قد خدعوا من الشيطان وبينا هم يصلون مزجوا بصلاتهم المشاغل العالمية فأصبحوا في ذلك الوقت ممقوتين في نظر الله ( [2] ) 10 قولوا لي أتحذرون متى اغتسلتم للصلاة من أن يمسكم شيء نجس ؟ نعم بكل تأكيد 11 ولكن ماذا تفعلون عندما تصلون ؟ 12 إنكم تغسلون أنفسكم من الخطايا بواسطة رحمة الله (ا) 13 أتريدون إذا وأنتم تصلون أن تتكلموا عن الأشياء العالمية ؟ 14 إحذروا من أن تفعلوا هكذا 15 لأن كل كلمة عالمية تصير
