3 Said Jesus: ‘And I tell you on the contrary that when one worketh well or speaketh well, whosoever seeketh to hinder him, under pretext of aught that is not better, he serveth the devil, nay, be even becometh his companion([1] ). 4 For the devil attendeth to nought else but to hinder every good thing.’
5 ‘But what shall I say unto you? I will say unto you as said Solomon the prophet, holy one, and friend of God: ‘Of a thousand whom ye know, one be your friend ( [2] ).’
6 Then said Matthew: ‘ Then shall we not be able to love any one.’
7 Jesus answered: ‘Verily I say unto you, that it is not lawful for you to hate anything save only sin, 8 insomuch that ye cannot hate even Satan as creature of God, but rather as enemy of God. 9 Know ye wherefore? 10 I will tell you; 11 because he is a creature of God, and all that God hath created is good and perfect (a)( [3] ). 12 Accordingly whoso hateth the creature hateth also the creator.

طرد الظلام 3 فقال يسوع : وأنا أقول لكم أنه بالضد من ذلك متى فعل أحد حسنا أو تكلم حسنا فكل من يحاول منعه بوسيلة ليس فيها ما هو أفضل منه فإنما هو يخدم الشيطان بل يصير رفيقه ([4] ) 4 لأن الشيطان لا يهتم بشيء سوى منع كل شيء صالح 5 ولكن ماذا أقول لكم الآن ؟ 6 إني أقول ما قاله سليمان النبي قدوس وخليل الله : " من كل ألف تعرفونهم يكون واحد صديقكم ( [5] )"6 فقال متى : ألا نقدر إذا أن نحب أحدا ؟ 7 فأجاب يسوع : الحق أقول لكم أنه لا يجوز لكم أن تكرهوا شيئا إلا الخطيئة 8 حتى أنكم لا تقدرون أن تبغضوا الشيطان من حيث هو خليقة الله بل من حيث هو عدو الله 9 أتعلمون لماذا ؟ 10 إني أفيدكم 11 لأنه خليقة الله وكل ما خلق الله فهو حسن وكامل (ا) ( [6] ) 12 فلذلك كل من يكره الخليقة يكره الخالق
